WHO IS HARRY
Born in Santiago, Chile I grew up in both North and South America. I started playing guitar when I was seven years old in Argentina and entertained my family friends playing Argentine folk music. Picking up wind instruments during elementary school in the U.S., I settled on Flute during high school in Chile.
In 1986 I participated in the "Living Music Village" sponsored by Paul Winter. That experience along with teaching music at Windsor Mountain, fomerly Interlocken International Summer Camp inspired me to begin my performing career. Since 1989 I have been teaching and entertaining at festivals, schools, libraries, and summer camps throughout the Northeast both solo and as a member of the quartet, Off the Cuff.
"Harry's spirited performances appeal to the child in us all. He chooses songs that express positive ideas and promote global values. His love of music and inherent talent is immediately evident in his performances and workshops. He both gives and responds to his listeners, and reaches young and old alike." Richard Herman, Windsor Mountain International Camp, Windsor, NH
